You can explore the demo without signing up. To save your own grocery data, create a free account with your email. Your data is stored locally on your device and syncs to the cloud when you're signed in.
GoneUP estimates prices based on what you have personally logged on past trips. After your first trip, items on your list show a tilde (~) before the price to indicate it's an estimate. The more trips you log, the more accurate your estimates become. We do not use crowdsourced prices or retailer price feeds.
Yes. GoneUP is built to work in the store where signal is unreliable. Your list, price history, and trip log are all stored on your device and fully accessible offline.
Demo mode lets you explore GoneUP with two years of sample grocery data. You can browse every screen, see how price history builds up, and try all the features before creating an account. If you're signed in, your real data is saved and restored when you exit demo mode.
Use the search bar at the top of the List screen. Start typing and GoneUP will suggest items from its catalog and your own history. Tap an item to add it. Items are auto-categorized into Groceries, Essentials, and Other.
Open the Meals tab and tap "Sync to List" at the top of the weekly view. All ingredients from your planned meals are added to your grocery list automatically.
Tap the "Shop" button at the top of your list to enter shopping mode. Check items off as you go. When everything is checked, you can log the trip directly.
Pantry staples are items you buy regularly. You build your own pantry list using the same search bar. Tap a staple to quickly add it to your grocery list. You can remove staples anytime with the X button.
On the Meals tab, tap a day to add a meal. Choose from your saved recipes or create a new one. Meals are color-coded by type (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack) and auto-sort on each day. You can also long-press and drag meals between days.
Go to the Trips tab and tap "Log Trip." Select your store, enter the items you bought and what you paid, then save. Every logged trip makes your price estimates more accurate.
Tap any item on your grocery list or in your trip history to open its detail view. You'll see a price chart showing every price you've logged across all stores, your cheapest store, and the price range.
The trend shows how the current estimated price compares to what you paid recently. A red arrow up means the price has gone up vs last week. A green arrow down means it's lower. "Stable" means it's within a normal range. These are based entirely on your personal trip history.
After you save a trip, GoneUP checks if any item's price jumped more than 20% above your personal average. If it did, you'll see a "Heads Up" alert showing which items spiked and by how much.
Your grocery data is stored locally on your device for offline access. When you're signed in, it also syncs to Supabase for backup and multi-device access. Your account credentials are stored securely via Supabase Authentication. Row-level security ensures only you can access your data.
Email hello@goneupapp.com and we'll delete your account and any server-side authentication data within 30 days. Clearing your browser data removes all locally stored grocery data immediately.
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password." Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link.
